QuickBooks Is Getting a Facelift: New Interface Coming Soon

QuickBooks will permanently switch to its new user interface this month. Some of our clients have already noticed the updated design rolling out.

While you can still switch back to the classic version for now, the change will become permanent on November 13, 2025. Users are encouraged to preview the new layout early to get familiar with the refreshed look and features ahead of time.

To preview the new layout, go to Gear Symbol→ Settings → Switch.

The new look might feel like a big change, but don’t worry — everything you know is still there, plus a few helpful new tools.

Here’s what’s new in the QuickBooks interface:

• Simplified navigation: The redesigned dashboard helps you find what you need faster, with clearer menus and cleaner visuals.

  
  

• Smart customization tools: Easily adjust your invoices, forms, and company info right from one screen — no extra clicks needed.

  
  

• Enhanced payment flexibility: Accept payments through more platforms, including PayPal, Apple Pay, and other digital methods.

  
  

• All-in-one workspace: Manage customers, invoices, and reports without switching between tabs or windows.

  
  

• Built-in automation: Set up automatic reminders and recurring tasks to save time and keep clients on track.

  
  

• Dynamic editing: Instantly edit customer or invoice details and see updates in real time.

  
  

• Live layout preview: The new Update Layout feature lets you view design or info changes as you make them.
